"I love our community and state. I'm working to make District 7 and New Mexico a better place for our children and grandchildren to thrive."

TANYA'S PRIORITIES

Reducing
Crime

Crime is on the rise in our community and in order to protect our families, we need to provide first responders and public safety departments with the resources they need. Tanya works to ensure our first responders have the latest training and equipment, so they are staffed appropriately and return home safely to their families.

Emphasizing Education

As a teacher and coach, Tanya knows firsthand what teachers need to do the job. As a coach, she sees the need to give students access to a career whether that is through certification in a trade program or a college education.

Improving Infrastructure

As our State Representative, Tanya works to bring needed infrastructure projects to Belen, not only to improve our quality of life, but attract more people to our community so they can spend their dollars here and we can continue to grow for generations.

Creating
Jobs

Valencia County is full of hardworking people who deserve the opportunity to live the American Dream. Tanya uses her years of private sector experience to advocate for the people of District 7 and to bring better jobs to our community. Together, we can create a place where our children will prosper.
